Philosophy

Our Philosophy Centers on Simple, Straightforward Guidance

SIMPLE

“Simple” is not the same as easy. While our goal is to simplify your financial life through developing personalized financial and investment strategies that consider all aspects of your finances, wealth management needs, lifestyle, and goals—that's a complex process that requires significant experience, insight and education. “Easy” would be pushing the product du jour, whether it meets your needs or not.

We don't do easy. We do custom. And there's a good reason for that. No two clients are alike. Each of our clients' goals, aspirations and challenges differ. We believe that managing your money using a cookie-cutter model or off-the-shelf approach not only underserves you, but has little chance of helping you achieve the outcomes you desire.

STRAIGHTFORWARD

While it takes more work to customize a strategy tailored to your needs, that's what our clients hire us to do. Our approach to helping improve the lives of our clients embraces proactive planning, technical and fundamental market analysis and monitoring, education, regular communication and the implementation of strategies that place your interests first.

And we begin the process in a straightforward manner—getting to know and understand you and your needs through honest discussions and friendly conversations about where you've been and where you're going. We want to know what makes you laugh, what makes you cry and what keeps you up at night. Understanding what matters most to you is critical to developing the strategy that's right for you and your family.

GUIDANCE

We offer fee-based asset management services which we believe places the financial emphasis where it belongs: on ensuring your interests always come first. When your account increases in value, so does our compensation.; and if your account should decrease in value, so does our compensation. A fee-based approach to asset management helps to ensure we always have a vested interest in helping you pursue your goals and objectives as we help you preserve and grow your wealth over time. As Registered Representatives of LPL Financial, we also may receive transaction based compensation.

The investment portfolios we develop for our clients draw from a broad universe of non-proprietary investment products, including institutionally managed funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), individual stocks and bonds, alternative investments, and more.*

As your financial steward, we work with you in a collaborative manner to develop a strategy that reflects your tolerance for risk as well as your goals and objectives. We monitor your strategy over time and recommend adjustments as the financial markets shift or your personal situation changes to help you remain on track toward your goals.

*Alternative Investment Strategies include hedge fund strategies, private equity, managed futures vehicles, structured products, equipment leasing partnerships, real estate investment trusts (REITs), 1031 real estate exchanges and oil and gas partnerships.
No strategy ensures a profit or protects against loss. Investing involves risk including possible loss of principal. Tactical allocation may involve more frequent buying and selling of assets and will tend to general higher transaction cost.  Investors should consider the tax consequences of moving positions more frequently.
